Tilmon Comeau, 89, of the Jordan Memorial Home, River Glade, died Tuesday at the Moncton Hospital after a brief illness.

Born at Comeau Pointe, Westmorland County, he was a son of the late Philippe and Marguerite (LeBlanc) Comeau. He was a woodsman until retirement.

He is survived by two brothers, Arthur of Detroit and Alex Comeau of Amherst, N.S. Two sisters and four brothers died previously.

The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will b e celebrated 7 p.m. Thursday from the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
